Came with friends before I went into surgery the next Monday. So I was hoping for food food and was not disappointed. One is not a fan of seafood so he ordered a steak. He was happy with his choice. I got the cashew chicken since it's my go-to to decide if I'll come back. Plenty of veggies and some chicken. Could have been more flavorful. Can't say it was the best I've had. Beef and broccoli and the Beef Lo Mein were both cooked and tasted as expected and enjoyed. We also go the Chicken Lettuce wrap and and plenty for everyone. Enough for 6. The views are great if you get near the windows. At least until the buildings are done across the street. Ha! I could come back again and would try something else. Everyone got sweet and sour chicken as their extra side and found it good!
Overview
Walking into Blossom Chinese & American Restaurant feels like stepping into a familiar neighborhood spot where comfort food and classic flavors come together without any fuss. Located at 2081 N Redwood Rd, Saratoga Springs, UT 84045, United States, this diner-style restaurant has become a regular stop for locals who want variety on one menu and consistency on every visit. I first stopped by on a busy Friday night, and despite the steady flow of families and takeout orders, the atmosphere stayed relaxed and welcoming.
What stands out right away is the menu. It balances Chinese staples like General Tsoβs chicken, sweet and sour pork, and vegetable lo mein with American favorites such as burgers, fries, and hearty breakfast plates. This mix isnβt accidental. According to data from the National Restaurant Association, menus that offer cross-cultural options tend to perform better in suburban communities, especially with families who have varied tastes. Blossom clearly understands that reality and executes it well. One table might be sharing orange chicken and fried rice, while the next digs into pancakes and eggs, and nobody feels out of place.
During one visit, I watched a server help a first-time customer navigate the menu by explaining portion sizes and spice levels in simple terms. That small moment showed a process the restaurant applies consistently: guiding diners so they leave satisfied, not overwhelmed. Reviews from regulars often mention this same experience-staff who know the menu inside out and arenβt rushing anyone to decide. That level of service aligns with hospitality standards recommended by organizations like the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute, which emphasizes clear communication as a key factor in positive dining experiences.
Food quality is where Blossom earns its reputation. The Chinese dishes are prepared fresh, with sauces that arenβt overly sweet or greasy. I once asked how often they prep vegetables, and a staff member explained they chop produce daily to keep texture and flavor consistent. That attention to detail matters. Research published by Cornell Universityβs School of Hotel Administration shows that freshness perception directly affects customer satisfaction and repeat visits. You can taste that care in dishes like beef with broccoli or shrimp fried rice, where nothing feels reheated or tired.
On the American side of the menu, portions are generous and familiar in the best way. The breakfast plates, in particular, have developed a loyal following. One local couple I spoke with mentioned they stop in every Sunday because the eggs are cooked exactly how they ask, every single time. Consistency like that builds trust, especially in a diner-style setting where people expect reliability over novelty.
The location also plays a role in its popularity. Sitting right along N Redwood Road makes it easy to reach from different parts of Saratoga Springs, and parking is rarely an issue. Families appreciate that convenience, especially for quick dinners after school activities. Reviews frequently highlight how easy it is to grab takeout without sacrificing quality, which speaks to how well the kitchen manages both dine-in and to-go orders.
No restaurant is perfect, and Blossom does have limitations. During peak hours, wait times can stretch a bit longer than expected, particularly on weekends. However, the staff is upfront about it and often suggests calling ahead, which helps manage expectations. That transparency goes a long way in maintaining trust.
Over time, this restaurant has earned a reputation not through flashy trends, but through steady execution, a thoughtful menu, and genuine service. Itβs the kind of place people recommend to friends without hesitation, not because itβs trendy, but because it reliably delivers good food and a comfortable experience, visit after visit.

Staff was great! We had a group of 18, 9 kids 9 adults. They took our order fast, kept up on beverages and served our food in a very timely manner. Portions are huge, the orange chicken is the best I have had at any Chinese restaurant. I loved their beef Lo mein. Building is very new and everything is nice and clean. Very good experience, will come again for sure.
This food was amazing!! The owners sure know what they're doing. Our waitress Tiffany H was so kind, professional and efficient. Our glasses were literally never empty, trash and empty dishes cleared immediately. Food was out fresh fast and delicious. Thank you for a wonderful night. Super clean and cozy environment. Highly recommend going. I loved my pon pon chicken dinner, and my cousins wife said it was the best Sesame chicken she's ever had. My husband loved his shrimp dish so much.
My test food for any new Chinese place I try is shrimp chow main. I have been looking for a place as good as HOHO in Bountiful, since they closed. Yes! This is it! So good! Really fresh. Great service. Clean place. Really recommend!
Sesame chicken really good. Mongolian beef too. Ham fried rice is plain no frills. Needs more egg chunks and peas and carrots in it. I would eat here again. Great view too of the valley and mountains. I'm grateful to have good fresh quality chinese food here in Saratoga Springs. Thanks guys!
We LOVED the orange chicken. It was SPOT ON. Loved the extra touch of orange rind slivers. The shrimp appetizer was a bit too expensive, but good. We got a full combo dinner & split it. Still took some home. So much food!!! Thanks Blossom
I love this restaurant. Best Chinese in the area. The food is always delicious and tastes fresh. We have been a few times, ordering different things and are never disappointed. The restaurant is clean and elegant. Service has always been friendly and helpful. They also have a kids menu with both Chinese and American food that works great for my young child. They also have a small gluten free menu.
